NuSelf Bariatrics offers comprehensive weight-management solutions, both surgical and non-surgical, for those coping with obesity who have been unable to achieve their weight-loss goals through diet or behavioural modification. This program is for people who want their life back, those who want to change and are dedicated to their personal success.

You may qualify for a surgical weight loss procedure if you meet one of the following requirements.

  • A BMI over 40 or more than100 pounds overweight
  • A BMI equal or greater than 30 and at least one or more obesity-related health conditions such as type II diabetes (T2DM), hypertension, sleep apnea and other respiratory disorders, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, osteoarthritis, lipid abnormalities, gastrointestinal disorders, or heart disease
  • Inability to achieve a healthy weight loss sustained for a period of time with prior weight loss efforts

You may qualify for our non-surgical weight loss procedure, such as the New direction VLCD program or the Gastric balloon with Obalon system, if you meet one of the following requirements:

  • A BMI over 27 or more and at least one or more obesity-related health conditions such as type II diabetes (T2DM), hypertension, sleep apnea and other respiratory disorders, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, osteoarthritis, lipid abnormalities, gastrointestinal disorders, or heart disease
  • A BMI equal to or greater than 30
